The Range, QLD · 2026 — Body Corporate – Multi-Unit Complex Refurbishment

A staged refurbishment master plan for an existing unit complex, addressing longstanding drainage and water ingress issues alongside a full cosmetic upgrade. Stage 1 rectifies external drainage and stormwater discharge, replaces retaining walls, and reworks vehicle and pedestrian access; Stage 2 delivers a refreshed street presence through new external cladding, timber-style balustrades, window sunshades, repainted surfaces and updated driveways — coordinated across hydraulics, structural and landscape input.

Rockhampton, QLD · 2026 — Master Plan – External Works & Nature Play

A staged master plan for an established kindergarten, reimagining fourteen outdoor play zones across a 10-year vision. The brief called for retaining and enhancing loved existing elements — the cubby house, swing, sandpit and mud kitchen — while introducing a new multi-level fort, digging patch with yarning circle, obstacle course, greenhouse and enlarged performance stage, all grounded in direct feedback from children and educators.

Design for the external works delivery of four new dwelling units for the Department of Energy & Public Works, ensuring new modular housing has compliant accessibility to meet NCC and AS1428.1.

Greenbank, QLD · 2025 — Accessible Ensuite Modifications

A targeted accessibility upgrade to a Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety–managed dwelling, converting a bedroom robe and ensuite into a fully AS1428.1-compliant accessible bathroom.

North Rockhampton Special School

North Rockhampton, QLD · 2025 — PWD Assist Bathroom Refurbishment

A detailed refurbishment of an existing accessible bathroom for Queensland Department of Education, delivered in coordination with the Department of Housing and Public Works. The scope included a new ceiling hoist system, relocated and reconfigured joinery, an adjustable height change table, upgraded waterproofing and floor finishes, and a widened cavity slider entrance — all documented to AS1428.1 and DoE standards.

The Gap, QLD · 2025 — Block D Classroom Refurbishment

An occupied-school refurbishment for Queensland Department of Education, converting Block D's general learning areas into a flexible office, guidance office, two reconfigured GLAs and a supporting foyer and store. Delivered as consulting designer to Designtek.

Blackall, QLD · 2025 — Renovation & Extension

A considered transformation of a traditional Queenslander, balancing character retention with modern liveability. The brief called for a full reconfiguration of the existing floor plan — five bedrooms, a new master suite with ensuite and walk-in robe, and reworked kitchen, living and laundry zones — alongside a 58m² addition. MDC managed the project from concept through to Building Approval documentation.

St. Clements Melkite Catholic Church

South Brisbane, QLD · 2025 — Full Design Management – Presbytery Refurbishment & Extension

A structural refurbishment and extension for an established South Brisbane parish, rectifying an ageing presbytery's roof, subfloor and internal linings while adding a new health-compliant kitchen and enclosed assembly extension. The scope includes AS1428.1-compliant access throughout the site — new ramps, tactiles and thresholds connecting the carpark, church and presbytery — an overhead covered outdoor area, and full new services, lighting and fire safety upgrades. Delivered as consulting designer to Designtek.

Bungundarra, QLD · 2025 — New Residence

A ground-up rural residence designed for a large 1.5-hectare acreage site, delivering a sprawling 481m² single-level home. The plan centres on a generous open-plan living, dining and kitchen zone flanked by a private master wing with ensuite and walk-in robe, four further bedrooms, a home theatre and office, and a wraparound patio — all set beneath a striking hip roof form with multiple ridge and valley lines to suit the expansive floor plate.

QLD · 2024 — Bathroom Renovation

A full bathroom modernisation within an existing dwelling, reworking the layout to include a new vanity, shower with tiled nib wall, toilet suite and full new waterproofing and floor finishes. The scope includes an interior selection planner covering vanity, tapware, tiling and accessory finishes — delivered as a client-ready fixture and finish package alongside the construction drawings.

Allenstown, QLD · 2024 — Tuck Shop / Canteen Refurbishment

A ground-up canteen refurbishment for Allenstown State School, delivering a new tuck shop with dedicated food prep, wash-up, servery and coffee servery zones opening onto a covered concrete verandah and a shaded synthetic turf outdoor seating area.

CQU Residential Buildings 45 & 46

Norman Gardens, QLD · 2024 — Full Design Management – Multi-Building Residential Refurbishment

A full internal refurbishment of two existing residential buildings within a Norman Gardens accommodation precinct, reconfiguring each into multiple self-contained king-bed suites with ensuite, robe and shared kitchen, dining and lounge facilities. The scope includes new laundry and kitchen joinery, full new wall linings, floor finishes and electrical throughout, plus external works comprising a new outdoor covered area, drying yard, concrete perimeter apron and Crimsafe-screened windows and doors — delivered as consulting designer to Designtek for client CBC.

Larcombe Residence

QLD · 2024 — New Residence

A ground-up 374m² residence on an elevated riverside site, built on a raised subfloor with aluminium batten screening in response to the site's flood-prone context. The plan wraps a master suite, three further bedrooms, a media room and open living, kitchen and dining zones around a central circular plunge pool, all beneath a striking multi-hip roof with skylights and wraparound verandah — delivered as full design management from concept through building approval documentation.

Leichhardt Residence

QLD · 2024 — Renovation

A full internal reconfiguration of an existing rural dwelling, closing in the front verandah to create a new bathroom, dining and entry sequence while opening up the living areas into a connected kitchen, dining and lounge zone. The renovation reworks all four bedrooms with new robe configurations, relocates the bathroom, and introduces a dedicated storage room — refreshing the home's internal flow while retaining its rural character and existing footprint.

Newmarket, QLD · 2024 — Block A Heritage Refurbishment

A two-level refurbishment of a heritage-era Block A spanning original 1900s fabric through 1947, 1974 and modern-era additions, carefully rationalising decades of piecemeal alterations into a cohesive layout. Ground floor reworks the administration wing into principal, deputy, BSM and HOD offices around a new reception and student corridor, while Level 1 converts former classrooms into four modern GLAs with breakout spaces and a meeting/specialist room. A new external lift and landing deliver PWD access to both levels.

Ashgrove, QLD · 2024 — Block A Two-Level Refurbishment

A comprehensive two-level refurbishment of an established Ashgrove school building, reworking Level 1's administration wing into reception, sick bay, secure store, deputy and principal's offices around a new breakout space, while Level 2 is reconfigured into seven general learning areas separated by teaching walls, breakout zones and dedicated HOD offices. Across both levels the works remove outdated dividing walls, relocate data infrastructure, and deliver approximately 1,000m² of refreshed teaching and administration space.

Rockhampton North Special School — Sensory Garden

Frenchville, QLD · 2024 — Full Design Management – Outdoor Sensory Garden

A purpose-built sensory garden nestled between three existing school blocks, combining a winding synthetic turf and synpave 'river' path with sandstone seating blocks, planter beds with shade trees, and custom street furniture. The design upgrades the existing accessible ramp with a new AS1428.1-compliant handrail extension and adds a structural column to support an overhead covered linkage, delivering a calm, tactile outdoor learning space for students.

Veresdale Scrub State School

Veresdale Scrub, QLD · 2024 — Administration & Amenities Upgrade

A multi-zone upgrade across an established primary school for Queensland Department of Education. The scope spanned demolition of the ageing Block B, a new Zone B administration wing housing reception, principal's office, meeting rooms and staff amenities, and refurbishment of Block A — a building of heritage significance — into a resource and data hub with a new front verandah and DDA-compliant access, returning structural integrity to a building of community significance.

Barcaldine, QLD · 2023 — New Multi-Residential Development

Design and documentation of an 8-unit government employee housing development for the Department of Energy and Public Works, comprising a mix of 2- and 3-bedroom dwelling types arranged around a shared common area, each with its own garage, covered outdoor living space, and private site area. The project included coordination of civil works across a sloping allotment — relative levels, stormwater drainage, and driveway/path layouts documented to tie the units together as a cohesive precinct — and was staged to allow for future units on the adjoining vacant site. Delivered as consulting designer to Designtek.

Granville Residence

Emu Park, QLD · 2023 — Demolition & New Two-Storey Dwelling

A complete rebuild on a sloping seaside block, demolishing the existing dwelling and delivering a two-storey home engineered around the site's fall with masonry retaining, stepped relative levels and stormwater scour protection to the rear boundary. Ground floor centres on an alfresco and 5.5m fibreglass plunge pool off the open-plan living/kitchen, with garage, store and two bedrooms; the upper level adds a master suite, third bedroom, study and both front and rear decks — delivered as full design management through to construction documentation and internal schedule of interior design.

Rockhampton State High School — Home Economics Building

Wandal, QLD · 2023 — Design Concept – New Home Economics Building Extension

A new-build 400m² two-level facility for Rockhampton State High School, elevated on columns above an accessway and future landscape works. Level 1 houses a café, staff room and future general learning areas; Level 2 delivers a full commercial-grade teaching kitchen suite — senior kitchen, industrial kitchen, dry store, freezer and cold room — alongside a dining/theory room, built with future GLA expansion staged into the design from the outset.

Hoskyn Drive Showroom

Hidden Valley, QLD · 2022 — BCF Showroom Extension

An MCU-approved extension to an existing 801m² commercial showroom, adding a 229m² enclosed storage bay to the building's eastern end with a new roller door and exit access. The design retains the existing showroom and carpark configuration while lifting total site cover from 908m² to 1,138m², balanced against retained landscaping and open site space — delivered as full design management for the material change of use application.
